Running on New Servers!
It has been a good few days since I blogged last, but I have been trying to get my VPS (Virtual Private Server) configured and up and running over the past few days. I decided that it was finally time to spend a little bit more money and get my own private server to host all my sites on.
I brought the “Pearl” cPanel package from Future Hosting as the company were recommended by a few people on Twitter when I posed the question “anyone know a good cheap VPS provider?”. Twitter is great for getting questions like that answered within minutes!
I have moved danielfelice.com, explorewithme.com and freebpthemes.com so far without any major issues. It all went pretty smoothly as I took cPanel backups beforhand and then just restored the home directory and SQL database. I am currently having a small issue with the WordPress cforms plugin and e-mail, but that will be something stupid once I figure out what it is!
I’ll write another post in a day or two about what was involved in getting the sites up and running, and how much money it is going to save me!

Nice news! And how many Go did you take for your server, how many Go for 1 website like ExploreWithMe for example?!
Thanks Daniel!
